Family Shabbat Service

Family Shabbat services are planned every month, usually fourth Saturday, and are slightly reduced in length taking place from 10.30am to 11.30am to make them accessible to as many younger members of the community as possible.
Holocaust Memorial Day
Mon 27 January from 10.00am
The theme of this year's Holocaust Memorial Day is Stand Together. The opening ceremony will be at the Cathedral on Monday 27th January at 10:00am. A free exhibition on the holocaust and other genocides will be at the Guildhall from 10:00am to 3:30pm. Synagogue tours will be conducted between 10:00am and midday. Various talks will take place throughout the day at Southernhay United Reform Church, and the closing ceremony will be at the Guildhall at 3:30pm.
Mental Health Awareness Shabbat
Sat 1 February 10.30am
It is an opportunity to encourage people of all ages to be more in touch with their own mental health and wellbeing, and to raise awareness of mental health and mental illness in the local and wider community. Followed by an extended bring and share kiddush (vegetarian only please) and optional discussion (be as participative or simply observe as you like).
